Relationships that endure are built upon shared experiences and the continuing development of trust. Romantic love usually ignites the relationship but growth for the couple is the by-product of thoughtfully sharing life.
In a relaxed and neutral setting couples therapy addresses specific skills: communication styles, how to disagree with respect and identifying reasonable expectations. In our sessions, we will discuss seasons of change. Change is inevitable: our health, our jobs, our families, our goals will change. Yet, we can learn to cooperate with these changes and to support one another through the changes.
Marriage is a journey. No matter where you are on this spectrum of marriage, improving communication and learning to work with conflict successfully can improve your life together.
Respectfully, I ask that couples attending therapy together commit to a minimum of 5 sessions.
